Crown Pro Workshops will introduce you to the world of professional make-up.
The courses are industry based and practical which in turn, will provide you with a solid foundation and the skills to work within the beauty industry.
Your training experience will be conducted by an industry professional that is currently working as a make-up artist in the field. Crown Pro workshops will introduce you to a world of make-up suitable for bridal, special occasions, fashion and catwalk.
Whether you are wanting to start a new career or just wanting to brush up on your skills, we welcome you to the creative world of professional make-up.
About Jodie
Jodie Watkins is a professional freelance makeup artist with over 10 years experience.
Specialising in airbrushing, bridal, formal, editorial and catwalk makeup.
Whilst working as a freelance makeup artist Jodie was also the head makeup trainer with a leading Gold Coast Academy for over 6 years.
Training and qualifications gathered from all areas of the globe from Napoleon Perdis to All About Face Hollywood, following her passion Jodie continually travels the world updating her skills to bring you the very latest styles, looks and techniques.
With a love of teaching others Jodie is honoured to be sharing her skills and knowledge offering workshops in proud association with Crown Brush.
1-Day Crash Course Workshop (Learn the Basics) 
1 Day Crash Course for Students and Performers - Only $99.00 ($162.50 value)
Course includes:
- False Eyelash & Eye Make-up Application.
- How to do Smokey Eye’s

- Foundation Matching, Concealing / Highlighting
Course Dates will be set between 30th March, 2013 to 14th April, 2013.
This course will be conducted at Crown Brush Showroom / Studio.
Each class member will receive "Free" 7 piece basic brush set and a 36 colour smokey eye palette. (Value $63.50)
Airbrushing Workshop
1 day 6 hours (either full day or over two evenings) - $850 pp
Course includes:
- Airbrush
- Compressor
- Range of liquid foundations and blushes
- Training notes
- Colour selection
- Foundation history and brand knowledge
- High definition flawless look
This course is aimed at makeup artists looking to expand their skills and knowledge in the makeup industry.
Learn the very latest in airbrush techniques direct from the USA.
Makeup knowledge is a requirement.
Personal Makeup Workshop
1 day 6 hours - $250 pp
Course includes:
- Makeup brush set and makeup palette
- Colour wheel
- Personal colour matching
- Knowledge in skincare, skin types and skin tones
- Face shapes and contouring
- Seasonal colour matching
- Eye shapes and sizes and suitable techniques
- Application and tool care
- Student notes
This class is aimed at anyone wanting to how to apply their own makeup or for family and friends.
Clients looking for colours that suit them and where exactly to place them on the face.
No previous makeup skills required.
Just Eyes Workshop
1 day 6 hours - $250 pp
Course includes:
- Makeup specialised eyes brush set and 2 makeup pallets
- Student notes
- Colour wheel
- Techniques for all eye shapes and sizes
- Complementing colours to suit
- Shadow placement and application
- False eyelash application
- Perfecting eyebrows
Minimal makeup knowledge required. Great for any makeup artist looking to update skills and knowledge
10 Weeks Evening Makeup Workshop
Wednesday evenings from 5-9pm over 10 weeks $1200 pp
Course includes:
- Full professional makeup brush set and makeup palettes
- Makeup application and tool care
- Colour wheel
- Application of makeup for day, corporate, evening, formal and bridal
- Face and eye shapes knowledge
- Product brands and uses
- Skin types and skin tones
- Colour understanding and placement
- Eyelash application
- Communication with clients
- Student notes
This workshop is aimed at anyone looking to start a career in the makeup industry, whether it’s to understand and do makeup for themselves, friends and family or to do clients for weddings, formals and special occasion.
No experience required.
Eyelash Extensions
$450 per person and this includes eyelash grafting kit and 3 hours training.
